Use of Cell-phone Line
Foreigners can sign up for only one cell-phone line per person. Anyone who is under 19 needs a consent from legal representative (guardian) in order to sign up.
Confirmation in Advance
Please check if a cell phone you are using is in a SIM-free state before signing up for a SIM card.
Opening Procedures
You can open a cell-phone line after entry to Korea. Please contact us when immigration is complete. ※Immigration history is updated when the process is done.
Identification
Prepaid plans are available only with passport.
Alien registration card is required for deferred (postpaid) payment plans.
Mobile Phone Identity Verification Service
You can use mobile phone identity veryfication service after alien registration card is issued. Please inquire again after coming of age for those who are under 19.
Plan Switch
① If you wish to switch from a prepaid plan to a deferred (postpaid) payment plan, you need to submit an alien registration card. Please contact customer center for assistance. ② Remaining balance cannot be refunded after the plan switch.
Cancellation
①A cell-phone line opened with passport is automatically canceled when leaving the country. ②A cell-phone line is automatically canceled when no additional balance is charged for 45 days after the end of contract. The same phone number cannot be used once canceled. ③For prepaid plans, in case of cancellation before the end of contract, no remaining balance can be refunded.

Overseas roaming and international phone calls are not offered.
For international phone calls, we recommend using voice call function in messaging applications.
