Officetel is a compound word composed of Office and Hotel.

As you can guess from the word, officetel is a building constructed as an office and used for temporary stays at the same time.

Only a few rooms can be used as a residential place -- meaning you can NOT report the address nor make alien registration card with address that belongs to office-use rooms.

The worst case scenario is that you cannot be protected by law regarding deposit.

Whether you can move in or not should be confirmed in advance because the tax calculation is different depending on the use.

We, GTN, only give lists of houses that you can move in -- no need to worry.
